This is a picture in Singapore at the last senior conference. Imagine our surprise when President Clark posted this pic up on the big screen. A dear friend in our branch, Sister Dina Tadon. She's a recent convert and moved here a few months ago, but couldn't find the church for a while. We've loved working with her. She drinks in the gospel teachings and Pres. Clark was using her as an example of a recent convert who is still 'active.' Something to celebrate as there are many who don't stay with us. He talked about Moses and the children of Israel and how in spite of the many miracles they witnessed, still fell away as soon as Moses left them for a time. Sometimes very discouraging. He was trying to encourage us all. He took her picture with his cell phone the day he visited our branch a few weeks ago. She's a dear person and I had two pictures printed and gave them to her at church today. She wept. Well, we wept together. She was very touched as we talked about what a great example she is to others.
