Elder Jones (love him) insisted we send his picture from the "phython experience" to our family. They did ask members if it was edible before they cooked. .... spare me please!

This is where we get off the bus in Megha Ria. You take your life in your hands - run across two lanes then a million steps up to the walkway across the other two lanes and another million steps down. See the smoke? Little fires burning in spots all the time - leaves, trash, etc. Surprising to be walking along and see a little smoldering pile of stuff right next to the sidewalk. We just look at each other and say, "Yup, this is Malaysia."

One of the families at the baptism. Mother, father in center. Son and daughter on ends. Brother Tinggon second from left. He is a recent Iban tribe convert ( 1 month ago- wonderful man) did the baptizing and then two of our elders in the back - Elders Parrish & Jones

Yummy food at the party!

Attending a birthday party at Brother John's home. He is a counselor in the branch presidency. The birthday girl is on the right opening a present. Her Mother in the pink shirt. Garald sitting on a stool eating. Lots of yummy good and they had furniture to sit on - hoorah!

At the baptism - President Tan - the branch president standing on the right. The missionary elders on the left. Baptismal font is a painted kind of metal
