We stand out!

Some posts may seem a little strange, but remember this is kind of our journal and it may be something we're posting just for us. Ignore if you'd like.

We do stand out here - on the bus - on the street - anywhere we are. People are very curious and sometimes the young girls just can't keep from staring at me. I do try to talk to them, but they usually don't speak English.

Remembering our first day here - we called the elders and said we'd try to find our apartment. They said, "Just go to the top of our street, tell the little guard guy you want apartment with 4 white guys." That's what we did and he knew immediately who we were talking about.
