Zone conference in Singapore. Getting everyone ready for the pic was more fun than the actual pic. Great conference. Elder Pratt and wife in center. Mission Pres Clark center right, then next to them is Elder Sis Carpenter, the mission office couple who just went home, then us on the far right. The other couples are not in our area. Darvel\Kathy you may recognize the couple right on the left of Elder Pratt. They are the ones who were in the MTC with you. They are assigned to a remote area in East Malaysia called Muka. They are the ONLY missionaries there. We would never have met them, except they were in for a Visa Run while we were there for conference. They're from Juneau Alaska. Say this is the first time they've ever been really warm and they may never go home. Delightful people. He says when they do get home, he's going to put the snow blade on his truck and drive south. When he gets to a place where someone says, "What's that?" That's where they'll stay. We laughed. (Remember you can click on the pic to enlarge, if you'd like. It's pretty small otherwise)
